Colomba: the Best Italian Pista Palace Employee Ever!

I was born in beautiful Milan, Italy. On a vacation trip to California in 1999, I instantly fell in love with San Diego and this is where I have lived during the last 5 years.  The passion for cycling and gorgeous bikes was in my DNA but I was not aware of that until I met Justin and this is how my life took a drastic change. When I am not in Pista Palace, you can probably find me riding my Colnago C-50 nude carbon with chorus 11 along the coast. I am very proud of my Italian heritage and at the same time extremely grateful for living in America s finest city: San Diego.

Last weekend I had the amazing opportunity of meeting Ernesto Colnago, the legend. Ernesto was extremely nice to all the Pista Palace staff. What I really like about him is that he does not speak English. He traveled around the world and all the cyclists in the universe know him and his bicycles. Ernesto does not need to speak English, he is a world market leader and he chooses to stick to his Italian roots. He definitely represents the real Italianity and all the hard working people who exported the Made in Italy as a standard of quality throughout the world. Ernesto insisted that we went to Cambiago to see the Colnago factory. And I will make sure that it is going to happen very soon. In my next trip to see my family in Milano, I am going to make sure that I will make it to Cambiago and have the opportunity to take a close look on how these jewels are actually made

I am going to take Justin there this summer and I will be happy to finally change his white trash perspective. After our trip he will finally admit that Italy is not a third world country where everyone is arrogant and obnoxious.  We are going to eat some delicious panini in Panino Giusto and have the best Ice cream in the world every day! And to top that we are going to ride our gorgeous 100% Made in Italy bicycles in the most wonderful landscapes you all can ever imagine.
