Colnago for Ferrari CF6 PP Tuned
SOLD! You snooze, you lose. And what a deal he got on the most beautiful Ferrari bike I have seen. Now here is a really amazing story for you guys, remember the youtube clip I put on the homepage that stated "There Can Be Only One"? Well....when we got the call our customer had a very distinct accent. Scottish to be exact. Where is this bike being shipped to? Yes...oh yes...The Highlands!!!! Amazing!!!
OK....lets take a deep breath. Look at it. I mean LOOK AT THIS BIKE! It is perfect. I realize that the Ferrari version of the Colnago is not for everyone being that it is not that understated. But! I truly believe that this bike is the perfect balance. The airbrushing and decals are what Colnago and Ferrari represent: Elegance and Power and Class. This is, of course, the CF6. I just have a tougher time embracing that little race car on the CF7. I dunno...I'm just not feeling it...yet.
The bike is very limited at 1 of 199. We now only have a 61 traditional. The price for this complete bike is $9500.
And so let me tell you about what has been changed. This bike originally came with Campy Record. Adios! We aftermarketed our Ferrari with Super Record. I really like the Power Cordz we put on this guy, too. The yellow hits all the other yellow parts on the bike. We didn't do the Zero Gravity this time because we wanted to keep everything classic Italian. This Ferrari comes with the Cinelli RAM bar. Some came with FSA. I must confess, I am not a fan of the FSA.
I am a fan of the new Fulcrum Zero 2-Way Fits we put on our Ferrari. Carbon hubs, thinner spokes, lighter weight. Wait a second!!! I forgot to weigh this limited edition masterpiece....hold on....15.88 lbs. with pedals. Nice and light! And sure, you could shave weight, but why? Oh...you will see a 2009 Colnago seatpost on there instead of the Campagnolo Record. And the yellow Swiss Stop brake pads are to ensure that when you decide to buy a set of Lightweights from us that you'll already have appropriate brake pads.
Thank you Enzo and Ernesto for bringing to the racing world values such as: passion, loyalty, tradition, and commitment to excellence. May their legacy live in immortality. Nobody ever collected nor respected an Asian made bike. And nobody ever will.
