The Green Hornet is a very special specie. I've had it for just about 2 months and will be using it for most of the winter as my main source of training. This bike is truly one of a kind. The paint scheme is ST09 which was a color option on the Extreme C for 2007. The paint is incredible to see in person.
Now....a few specs about my machine. Full Campy Record 10 speed with exception. I run a Centaur right shifter because I prefer the mechanism. The escape shifting is a sprinters dream. Also, in addition to running a 52 tooth big ring, I have a 40 tooth Rotor Ring on the inside. The rotor ring is great for climbing. Well, obviously, since a guy just won the tour on Rotor Rings. Aside from those changes, you'll notice the new Colnago carbon seatpost, a Prologo Scratch saddle, and Deda Zero bar and stem. I also have Fizik bartape, Green Chris King Headset, TIME RXS pedals, and Blackburn water bottle cages. You guys may not approve of the Blackburn, but they work the best, look cool, and this is MY bike.
The wheels are Campagnolo Hyperon Carbon Tubulars. And since I'm running Vittoria 24mm Pave tubulars, I don't worry about flats. These are the tires of the Classics! The only other little doodad trickery is the yellow swiss stop brake pads and the yellow Power Cordz derailleur cables. They don't make them in yellow anymore.
The bike weighs in at 15.4 lbs and is extremely comfortable and yet still has quite a pop. I've ordered a couple of additional C50's in this paint for those of you that wish to build up your own hornets.
