The Razor has been born. It's tasks include: Crush the Enemy. See them Driven before you. And to Hear the Lamentation of the Women. It made its debut on the Camp Pendelton Wednesday ride and for those pros tuning up for the Tour of California, they narrowly escaped their ultimate DOOM. For The Razor has been bred to seek and destroy all who oppose it.

The bike you see before you is mine. Built for me alone. For future reference you can always tell my bikes by the 100% Italian made Fizik Aliante saddle. It keeps the junk happy. Oh....and I always run a 52 tooth front chainring.

The Razor weighs exactly 14.2 pounds as you see it with pedals and computer. I know what you are thinking...isn't that a Powertap computer? Wait! Does Lightweight make a new Powertap Clincher wheel??!!!! Well....before you bust out your "O" face, the answer is no. I run a Campagnolo Neutron built Powertap wheel for training to monitor the stratospheric number of watts my pistons deliver. And I tend to prefer the wired version. More reliable.

Anyways!......The Razor is the 2009 TIME Vibraser. It features...TIME Monoblock handlebar, TIME ULTeam stem, TIME cages, TIME Ti pedals, Campagnolo Super Record 11 Speed, Lightweight Standards (the best), Fizik bartape and saddle, and custom Zero Gravity brakes. The special little upgrades include the gold Nokon cable housing and the Power Cordz that runs through them. Power Cordz are 100% carbon fibre. If you are looking to save weight and dramatically increase braking and shifting performance, you gotta' get 'em.

The Lightweights also come with my absolute favorite tire, The Continental Competition 22. Simply the best. The brakes are 100% custom. I know they recently came out with the gold Olympic ones, but these are not those. Pista Palace loves Zero Gravity. Zero Gravity loves Pista Palace.

The Razor is 100% made in France. TIME weaves their own carbon fibre. Name another cycling company that does that. There is another French bike company named LOOK that claims their bikes to be made in France. Wrong! Go to a map and find the country of Tunisia. That is where LOOK makes their stuff. And while Tunisia is important from a historical standpoint as the turnaround point in World War II, we here at Pista Palace don't embrace it as a cycling mecca filled with passion.

The Vibraser aka The Razor comes with a lifetime warranty of course. And I guess I would describe it as a World Star with added compliance. It is essentially the exact same bike with an extra 80 grams of Vibraser(Vectran) woven into the fibre. This means that you get the same performance with increased compliance. At 14.2 lbs, I don't think the weight difference is significant.
